This is YES2 - Look, don't touch

YES2 is armed and ready for flight. This is how it looks, wrapped in both Russian and ESA insulation (MLI).

5 Years ago, Marco and Fabio got acquainted with YES2 as students from Dresden and Milano respectively. When they got more involved, they quickly turned out to become solid part of the foundation of the project. Today, Fabio & Marco were there as experienced engineers to perform the ultimate hands-on activities on YES2: the final mission parameters were uploaded, the pyro arming plugs were plugged and the Fotino arming-plug hatch was glued closed to withstand re-entry. Result: YES2 in optima forma.

Thanks guys for keeping your cool. From now on it is look-not-touch... it is just days to launch.

We will continue to prepare the mission control, and support the Fotino recovery plans. Apart from that, sit back and enjoy the ride!
