First of all congratulations to all of you that contributed to YES2 and made a dream come true!
I feel very happy about the result of the mission, although the things didn't work out as expected...
but the result is not the point in this project...
the point is what we got from YES2...experience, knowledge, opportunities, hand's on job, patience, self control...
...and above all friendship!!!

It was an honor for me working with you guys...you are all great, with the best team spirit I ever seen and with a bright future in front of you!

I feel pretty much the same. Thanks to all of you and of course good
job. There was an amazing workload during the project, but all those
long nights working at ESTEC wouldn't have been possible without
people like you.

what can I say????....I've no word to explain my joy and gratitude to everyone!!!It was an amazing experience, better....it was THE experience!!!!I've found great people, good friends, work satisfactions....a great team with whom it was possible to share working life, friendship, happiness, anxiety, tiredness, results, amazement, joy.....and....DELTA FOOD!!!!!....c'mooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnn.....Thanks to everybody to have fulfilled this big desire, to have given me the opportunity to be a better person!!!!

I can only agree 100% to this email.

My excitement was growing bigger and bigger with every hour the mission
start was approaching and i was really amazed when i heard
about the near complete success of the mission.

Already the chance to meet, work and have fun with a lot of great people
and gather experience in an highly interesting field of engineering,
payed off the months of hard work. But seeing YES2 finally launched to
space and reading the mission-tracking-thriller on the yes2-blog-site gave
my heart a warm feeling, that we all were - and will be forever - a part
of it.

And a small piece of our souls is now orbiting the earth together with
YES2.. :)

Thanks to all you people for a great time, experience and friendship and
i am looking forward meeting you again!

Hi all,

also from me congratulations to everyone involved! Of course its a bit bad that not everything went as planned, but hey such is life and the next satellite will perform better. And as I understood, apart from the behaviour of the tether, every part of the system performed nominally. Thats amazing!

So lets hope that Fotino finally will find its way home!
