Sasha built and tested also a 3-axis magnetometer unit that was included in the GPS box.
Samara updateSubmitted by erik on Wed, 13/06/2007 - 18:11.The first days of YES2 work at the rocket factory of TsSKB progress can be considered succesful.
During evaluation of the functional test results it was noticed the flight stepper driver and motor consumed less power than the engineering model. This could mean either less torque of the motor or less losses in the stepper driver circuitry. In Samara, with a ingenious set-up the torque levels were directly compared and it can be concluded that the flight torque is nominal. FlorianSubmitted by michiel.yes2 on Mon, 11/06/2007 - 13:33.
Remember the tether? Tether Florian, spool 55. 31.6 km of which 30 km to deploy in space in September.
